Revelation

So, I have been reading Revelation a lot lately... even before I went to the Onething Conference in KC in December. A few months ago, the Lord told me to study the 7 churches He spoke to in Revelation and so I had been reading Revelation even before I knew that Onething was going to be all about it... Hmmm... No co-incidence there!

One thing that keeps catching my eye is the phrase "7 spirits of God." I was like, God has 7 Spirits??!! What's this?! I've never heard about this before! Neither John, nor an angel explains this. It's probably based on the assumption that this was common knowledge for the readers at the time this was written. So, after doing some looking, thank you google, I've found a verse in Isaiah. 11:2 which SAYS “The Spirit of the LORD will rest on him — the Spirit of wisdom and of understanding, the Spirit of counsel and of power, the Spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the LORD.” So, God is this what you are meaning in Revelation? I ask for wisdom and understanding. Reveal to me what You are saying. I have not heard much teaching on this and would like to be able to explain this to others Father. So, release what has been stored up!

Blogging

I am so thirsty... OK, I feel so much better now. I got a drink of water. I think of all the thirsty people out there who don't know how to quench their thirst. I think of the people who go through a "mid-life" crisis... Could it just be that they don't know how to quench their thirst? Jesus is the only one who can give us the water that quenches that thirst.

The Lord has been speaking to me a lot lately, but I need to rest for now. I just started blogging for the Kingdom House of prayer. I hadn't read anyone's posted before I posted mine and it was amazing to see the titles of the other blogs... several talking about the LOVE of the Father. I think IOWA needs some love! Jesus, pour out your love in Iowa. Show us what it really means to love each other as you love us.
